Transformer Tank with Corrugated Wall Panels
The transformer is provided with a corrugated finned tank. The up-to-date corrugated fins forming, welding and manufacturing line is CNC controlled consisting of de-coiler, folding and embossing unit for the front seam. The role of the fins is to increase the surface area of the tank which is in contact with cooling air.

With this corrugated design there is a reduction in size of up to 20% with correspondingly less oil and total weight, allied to a saving in unit cost.

We have introduced circular embossing enables the transformer oil to be distributed across the radiator at any level which results in even heat dissipation over the total width of the element thus improving the heat dissipation and efficiency in comparison with the radiator types available in the market. It further improves the paint finish.
